Yours until you choose
Your moments
Everything you save is yours alone. Someone else sees a moment only when you put it in an experience they're part of, publish a keepsake with it, or send it to them.
Private moments
Lock a moment and it stays out of experiences, keepsakes, links, the Wall and photo sharing. Only you see it.
Experiences
People you invite as contributors can add their own moments and see the experience's story. People you invite to view can see what's been published.
Shared links
A published keepsake's link opens for anyone who has it, no account needed. Unpublish it and the link stops working.
Photo sharing
Someone can add your photos to their own moments only if you've allowed them, and only from moments you tag them in. Private moments are never offered. You can mute anyone who offers you theirs.
Kids' accounts
Guardians see everything in a kid's account until it's handed over. After that, they can only look back on what was there up to that day.
What happens to your photos and words
Your camera roll
Proposed looks through your photo library on your phone to suggest moments. Nothing uploads until you save a moment.
Dates and places
LifeLately reads when and where a photo was taken so your moments land in the right place on your timeline.
How AI helps
AI organizes your moments, splits long messages into separate moments, and helps write your keepsakes from your own words.
Never for training
Your moments, photos and words are never used to train AI models.
Yours to keep or remove
Where it's kept
Your moments and photos are stored securely in the cloud, so they're safe if you lose your phone.
